Album releases, touring, Merlefest and more!

Hello all!

The Barefoot Movement and I have been keeping busy with our tour dates.  Our new album, "Live in LA" will be released May 13th!  It was produced by Chuck Plotkin (Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan) and Hank Linderman (Eagles, America) and has zero corrective editing.  We've been sitting on this one for a while, so we're thrilled to finally have it available!

In the meantime, we'll be making our second appearance at the fabulous festival Merlefest in Wilkesboro, NC.  I am also so excited to have been asked to join The Waybacks, Nicki Bluhm, Lindsey Lou and several surprise guests at the Hillside Album Hour - one of Merlefest's most treasured annual events.  As per tradition, the album will not be revealed till the show!

My solo record "Down Home Blues" also has an official release date!  Look for it on June 24th!  I'm currently putting together a mini-tour to celebrate the release that will reunite Ed Snodderly and myself for several dates!  Stay tuned for details!

Here are a few links to some interviews I've been doing recently:

New solo record to debut in June!

Chesky Records will release my first solo album, "Down Home Blues" this June!

The new album features 15 classic American blues numbers, and one original song.  The songs are supported by guitarist Ed Snodderly, mandolinist Tommy Norris, percussionist Chuck Palmer, and bassist Ariel De La Portilla.  I'm very excited to see this project come to life!

I had previously worked with Chesky as a member of the "New Appalachians."  Titled "From the Mountaintop," this record consisted of myself and many of other friends of folk music, playing a nice collection traditional tunes. The record was released To learn more about this record, head here: http://www.chesky.com/content/binaural-series.

Released in October of 2015, the album made it to number 13 on the Billboard Bluegrass Album Charts.  Here's a nice quote from the folks at The Audio Beat.

"Vocalist and fiddler Noah Wall's rendition of "Wayfaring Stranger" is natural, unadorned and bittersweet."
